Living in Naples since 1999, having relocated from Pennsylvania, Jacquee spends her time painting wildlife, landscapes and various commissions. She has been gaining recognition for her oil and acrylic paintings over the past decade. With
a personal invitation by the Everglades Museum, she had a one woman show. She was also selected by the jury to participate in the Naples National Art Festival, one of the top ten art shows nationwide hosted by the Naples Art Association’s vonLiebig Center.
Recently, she won first place “Award of Excellence” for “ Sunrise Over the Everglades” in the United Arts Council’s 6th Annual Juried Painting Exhibition at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center and “Best of Show” for “Serenity” in the recent Naples vonLiebig Art Center Members Gallery show.
Jacquee discovered at a very young age she had a natural ability to draw. After her first commission at the age of 13, she pursued her interest with a passion by embarking on an art education and a career in graphic design at Moore College of Art and Antonelli School of Art and Design.
While developing her talents in the graphic design business, a fondness for the fine arts flourished and became her chosen path. Her versatile artistic talents have involved in such mediums as pastels, watercolors, oils and her medium of choice acrylics. She now has been focusing on her own detailed creations in a limited series of Wildlife and Landscapes of the Florida Everglades as well as the majestic Nature of Yellowstone National Park.
Her main objective with each painting is “to deeply demonstrate the realistic beauty of wildlife in their natural habitats in it’s most vivid form.” Each painting is created by using a layer upon layer of light color washes, building up to show the true depth of the subject, from extensive research and referential photographs.
She has a commitment to the arts as well as the ability to contribute to the “conservation and awareness of the pressures mankind places on many threatened species”. She has been invited to participate in numerous fund raising events including the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s “Magic Under the Mangroves” and The Beartooth Nature Center’s “Feast for the Beasts” in Red Lodge, MT. As well as collaborating every year for the annual “Third on Canvas” auction, which has benefited such organizations as the Naples Children Hospital, The Mental Health Foundation of Naples and
The David Lawerence Center.
A compliment to her wildlife and landscapes are the commissions she receives for pet portraits. She illustrates the very soul with each painting. Please contact for more information and pricing.
